The MISSION of the Health and Human Services facet is to promote and facilitate programs that support the maintenance of good health and the elimination of chronic health disparities in communities of color through education, health advocacy, and optimal utilization of health resources. Community education about health risks is crucial and The Links, Incorporated can play a significant role.  

Community Partners and Programs

• American Heart Association and St. Joseph Hospital -  provide blood pressure screenings and distribute educational materials to churches in the Consolidated District.​

• American Heart Association - contribute to the Go Red for Women Program

•  Kentucky Organ Donor Association - provide bone marrow screenings and educational information

•  Central Baptist Hospital and Heart Truth - participate in the Day of Dance

•  Susan G Komen - participate in the annual Race For The Cure in Lexington KY
